OUR CARE
Care that starts
with knowing you.
Personalised residential care for adults aged 18–65 with learning disabilities, with support shaped around each person’s strengths, preferences and goals.
THE PERSON COMES FIRST
Your care.
Your voice.
We take time to understand what matters to you and involve you in decisions about your support.
Each person’s support is planned around their strengths, preferences, communication needs and goals. We adapt information to help people understand their choices and express their wishes.
Ashleigh House provides residential personal care. Nursing care is not provided.
WORKING TOGETHER
Good care begins
with listening.
Finding the right fit
Before offering a placement, we work with the person, their chosen representatives and relevant professionals to assess whether Ashleigh House is the right home for them.
Planning support together
We work with families, chosen representatives and professionals, respecting the person’s wishes and privacy.
Keeping care personal
Care and support are reviewed regularly and when needs change, with the person involved in decisions.
EVERYDAY LIFE
More of what
makes you, you.
Key workers take time to understand what each person enjoys and what they would like to try, at home and in the local community.
Residents can contribute to meal choices, maintain contact with family and friends, and share ideas about life in the home. We respect individual dietary preferences, cultural needs and religious beliefs.
